Kasey Joy Nash, CPDT-KA and BUCS-CADI has been raising and training Service Dogs since 2006, and in that time personally raised 15 service dogs start to finish. She attended and earned her Assistance Dog Training Certification from Bergin University of Canine Studies in 2015 and has maintained her CPDT-KA through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers since 2016. She has worked in various dog and disability related positions throughout her life.
Kasey uses modern, humane dog training methods based in established behavioral sciences. These methods prioritize the canine-human relationship through communication, ethology and patience; Kasey does not use pain or fear as training tools as they are not only unnecessary, but counter-productive in creating the type of drive and stability necessary for a dog to excel at and enjoy the lifestyle of a service dog.
Kasey offers customized training plans and opportunities based on individual needs, preferences, personalities and budgets. Every person’s journey to finding their perfect service dog match is different, and Kasey is excited to work with you in finding your perfect, soulmate-level service dog match.
