Overall, I really just can’t say enough about Kasey and Joyful Paws. Kasey is absolutely a rare treasure in the world of service dog training. I honestly do not know where I would be without her. Thank you so very much, Kasey. You have truly changed my family’s life. We so appreciate you!”

“I am a client of Joyful Paws Service Dogs who received one of her partially trained dogs. I could not be happier with the experience… Kasey is the real deal. She is extremely intelligent and educated on canine behavior and training, and she applies her deep understanding to her work of creating extraordinarily stable, enthusiastic dogs, who she is meticulous in matching to the right situation.
Kasey trains her dogs without force or compulsion, something that was non-negotiable for me. It shows in the thoughtful confidence and optimism her dogs display when faced with new situations or challenges. My placed dog treats tricky moments like they're fun training exercises because that's how she was raised.

Kasey is honest and open. She's a true professional, a gifted trainer, and a person I admire. She puts in an incredible amount of work to make sure every single dog and every team she has worked with has access to the best experiences and supports for their needs.

My dog is well on her way to fully trained and I am 100% confident in the working partner she is already becoming. Kasey has been a sounding board, a cheerleader, and a reality check all in turn depending on what I needed. Her puppy raiser team is top notch, as are her volunteers, all closely guided and taught. I am grateful for Kasey, and I look forward to the lifelong relationship that comes with her placements.”

“I have been training dogs for 40 years. And training my own service dogs for almost 20. I have worked with dozens of positive dog trainers. But Kasey is one of a kind! I immediately recognized she has skills way beyond mine and has so much knowledge of dog training and working service dogs. Far beyond most trainers.

I am so impressed with her that I asked her to produce and begin training my next service dog for me when my current girl retires. Joyful Paws is AMAZING!”

“…What I really like about Kasey’s training is that she develops an individual plan for each handler and dog team. Just like people, dogs learn new things at different rates. Kasey recognizes that this process cannot be rushed and she is willing to take the time required to achieve the results that are needed. I’m very happy with the progress that Rocky has made as a direct result of this training. He is now able to accompany me literally everywhere. We have been to restaurants, movies, sporting events, retail stores, etc... Because of his training and calm demeanor, Rocky is frequently complimented by stangers who see us. Service Dog training is NEVER DONE! It’s an ongoing process. I continue to take group classes with Kasey and other service dog teams. I thought Kasey’s pricing was fair and affordable. Thank you Kasey!”

“Kasey uses the most up to date and humane methods when training my dog. She doesn’t use pain fear or intimidation to train my dog. She is kind, fair, and loving toward my dog. I drive 5 hours round trip to train with Kasey and I would not have it any other way. She is worth it!”

“Kasey is kind, knowledgable, and patient. She truly believes in helping you and your dog grow as a team. I learned so much from her and I am so grateful for the help she has given me with my SDiT. She is the best!”

“I wish I could leave 10 stars. Kasey is by far the most kind and compassionate trainer I have ever worked with. I found her on accident and the fact she specialized as a service dog trainer was an amazing find for us. A friend recommended this group and I took my pup to a class she was teaching. She immediately made me feel comfortable and took a lot of extra time chatting with me and helping me with my pup. I met other clients of hers and all they could do was sing her praises.

If it wasn’t an all day flight to see her, I would still train with her as much as possible. I am jealous of the people that get to work with Kasey as she is an amazing human being and an excellent service dog trainer. I know Ollie, my pup, misses her as he became a complete mush ball everytime we met with her, and he is VERY selective about people he likes. He LUVS her.

I just can’t say enough about how amazing Kasey is. I would happily talk to any person considering her as a service dog trainer and vouch for her 100%.”

“Leo and I had worked with 3 other trainers while we were doing our research and although all were kind and good at what they do, none compared to Kasey. Kasey is everything we needed. Like Leo, I need patience and understanding of my limits, Kasey exceeds my expectations. I appreciate her fun and happy approach to training.”

“Kasey is both up-to-date on latest training techniques and dog behavioral science, and is incredibly intuitive to the needs of the dog. She has a positive, affirming, and supportive style, which is gentle but incredibly effective— and better than any other trainer I’ve worked with. With her guidance I was able to bring my dog to a higher level of training, confidence, and comfort, and I feel confident working as a team with my dog.”

Thank you so much, Kasey for everything that you do. I don’t think I’ve seen my son this content and smiling like this in a very long time. I’ve never seen him interact with so much love with another being (besides myself) like he does with Asteria...Having his service, dog has been so impactful. Her primary puppy raiser, Lynda also did an incredible job. She is adjusting beautifully, and so is my son. My eyes literally water, just watching them and thinking about what a beautiful pair they are and how impactful the Joyful Paws Service Dog program has been, on my son as well as myself. I’m so grateful that he has the privilege of studying under you, Kasey

Kasey is an incredible trainer and a wonderful person. 1000% recommend for anyone looking for service dog services!

I’m writing this review for Kasey Nash, Joyful Paws, because she is a superb trainer and I’m very grateful that she trained our dog Daisy to become a service dog...To summarize, in our first session Kasey explained in detail what would be involved, and stressed the importance of my involvement. Daisy had 20 lessons spread out over 6 months. Lessons took place in Kasey’s very well equipped basement, Home Goods, Target, Petco, and Cabela Sports. Kasey sent detailed notes after each lesson on what and how to practice, and how to take commands to new levels. Daisy bonded with Kasey the first day, and became very excited at even the mention of “Kasey”.

Kasey’s method was to explain a new command, demonstrate it with Daisy, then teach me to perform the task with Daisy. Lots of treats were used! Before the next lesson, Daisy and I practiced the new commands extensively, at least three times a week along with previous commands.

The techniques I learned from Kasey allowed me to build on many commands during our practice between lessons. To name a few, elevator techniques were used to teach escalators. “Outside” was extended to ”Back” and “Find the trail” while hiking.

Kasey organized a number of field trips with her other dogs in training: Mystic Acquarium and a Scavenger Hunt to name two.

I highly recommend Kasey Nash to anyone considering Service Dog training.
